KS2 had their first inter-house tournament of the year and we started with blind-football. Thinking about being inclusive is really important for us at St. Anne’s so we learnt to have an appreciation for how challenging football, a sport that all the children love, is without eye sight.
“We all worked on our listening skills today as we had to be very quiet to hear the bell in the ball and to hear where our team mates were!”- A year 6 pupil.
The children were amazing at working with each other and extremely supportive.
Well done to St.George for winning the tournament, lets see whether those team points help you get the cup this week!
